The Poppy: A Flower of Remembrance
Few flowers carry the weight of the poppy. For more than a century the poppy has been a symbol of remembrance, renewal, and enduring memory — a tradition that began with the wartime poem In Flanders Fields and grew into the memorial poppy worn each year to honor those who served (learn more from the remembrance poppy tradition). Our Poppy Keepsake Collection translates that symbolism into a permanent, handcrafted tribute: a stained-glass poppy that never wilts, never fades, and stays as a memory long after the fresh flowers have faded.
Because each glass poppy is handmade from 100% recycled glass or resin, color and style may vary from piece to piece — every keepsake is a one-of-a-kind original. Paired with our sympathy & funeral flowers or Signature Keepsake Arrangements, the Poppy Keepsake is a gift designed to be remembered forever.
Handmade Stained-Glass Poppies, Made Locally in Las Vegas
Every Poppy Keepsake is designed and assembled 100% locally in our Las Vegas studio, and the stained glass is sourced within the United States whenever possible — supporting American glass artists and keeping the carbon footprint of each keepsake low. The poppies are kiln-formed using traditional stained-glass techniques, where individual pieces of colored glass are cut, ground, and joined with soldered edges (read about the history of stained glass).
We craft the collection across every sympathy format you may need — a stained-glass poppy casket spray, a standing spray of remembrance, a remembrance wreath on an easel, a poppy urn tribute, and a one-poppy, one-memory keepsake arrangement — so the same lasting symbol can anchor every stage of a memorial.
